Article by Dr. Miryam Sivan for The Shiloh Project

The Shiloh Project on Rape Culture, Religion and the Bible has published an article by Dr. Miryam Sivan, a member of Remember the Women Institute's Advisory Board and a lecturer in literature at the University of Haifa, Israel. Her writing is part of the Shiloh Project's UN 16 Days of Activism. Dr. Sivanís article ran on day 10, December 4, 2018. Her novel, Make It Concrete, will be published in New York in April 2019. It is a story about a woman who ghostwrites Holocaust memoirs while her own mother, a Holocaust survivor, refuses to talk about her own experiences.

The Shiloh Project is a collaboration between academics at the Universities of Sheffield, Leeds and Auckland. The project aims to explore rape culture, religion, and the Bible.
